Course Description
The APM Project Fundamentals Qualification offers a fundamental awareness of project management terminology giving you the knowledge to make a positive contribution to any project.
Who is it for?
This qualification is for those wanting a broad understanding of the principles of the profession. You don’t need any prior knowledge or experience for this qualification.

Course mode and duration
2 days – classroom
3 days – online
Face to Face
Face to face classroom courses is delivered at one of our dedicated venues by an experienced Tutor. This can also be delivered as an in-house training at a venue of your choice if booked as a group.
Virtual Classroom (Tutor led)
This course is delivered online using a virtual communication system like Zoom or Microsoft Teams. The difference between this and an online classroom is that you can join this course from any location.
Online/Distance (self-paced)
We can customise the Project Fundamentals Qualification training for any group or organisation. The training can be delivered to your group either online or in a classroom.

The PFQ syllabus include;
o Project management and the operating environment
o Project life cycles
o Roles and responsibilities within projects
o Project management planning
o Project scope management
o Resource, scheduling and optimisation in a project
o Risk and issue management in the context of a project
o Quality in the context of a project
o Communication in the context of a project
o Leadership and teamwork within a project
The Fundamentals Qualification is a one hour, 60-question, multiple-choice exam. You can sit the exam online either in a classroom with us as your your accredited provider or at home utilising a remote live invigilator. This is an APM accredited training.
